The Under-6 Instructional League is an opportunity for young athletes ages 4-5 to develop basic soccer skills in a non-competitive environment. Players are exposed to all facets of the game in order to begin developing as a young soccer player.

Games at this level may be divided in half for practice time and supervised scrimmage, or may be played as a full game, at the discretion of the coaches. Coaches will be on the field for the scrimmage and can stop and start play as they deem necessary for instruction.

For Spring 2017, the U6 leagues will be playing short-sided games.  Each team will field 4 players without a goalkeeper.  This is to help develop individual ball-handling, which is the most basic skill set for building a strong foundation in soccer.  Games will be played at NCMS in the back of the school.
